FIELD: educating.
SUBSTANCE: field of application of the invention: martial arts, weapon-free self-defense, training of law enforcement officers. The training knife comprises a body made of a material with high dielectric properties, consisting of a blade including at least one edge and a point, as well as a handle. Placed in the body, in the handle, are a power source and a high-voltage current generator, the outputs whereof are connected with at least one pair of output electrodes placed in the blade. The control input of the high-voltage current generator is connected with at least one sensor of touching the body or clothing of the opponent with the edge or the point of the blade, placed in the blade along the edge and near the point. The sensor is configured to differentiate the type of touch of the blade on the body or clothing of the opponent as a "thrust" when touching with the point or a "cut" when touching with the edge of the blade. The output signals of the touch sensor vary depending on the type of touch. High voltage is activated for the duration of sensor response, or for the duration of sensor response increased or reduced by a predetermined time interval, or for the duration of sensor response, but not more or less than a predetermined period of time, or for a predetermined period of time from the moment of the blade touching the body or clothing of the opponent. The value of the output signal of the touch sensor can functionally depend on the value of the touch force on the body or clothing of the opponent, and the value of the output power of the high voltage current generator can functionally depend on the value of the output signal of the touch sensor.
EFFECT: increase in the effectiveness of the training process, expansion of the functional capabilities, and increase in the precision when determining the fact and time of the correct execution of the combat technique (a thrust or a cut) applying the training knife are provided.
