FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-temperature electrochemical devices (ECD) with a solid oxide electrolyte, such as electrochemical generators (fuel cells), an oxygen pump, electrolyzers for producing oxygen and hydrogen from CO2 and H2O, etc. devices. More specifically, the invention relates to a functional multilayer ceramic structure of the active part of solid oxide elements, which can be used in any type of said devices and in any design thereof. According to the invention, the structure of the active part of the solid oxide elements consists of a solid electrolyte layer separating the layers of porous electrodes and a dense layer with mixed ion-electronic conductivity located between the electrolyte layers and the porous electrode, which is textured to increase the ionic component of its conductivity.
EFFECT: reduction of internal losses of solid oxide elements and, consequently, improvement of their specific characteristics.
