FIELD: feed industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fodder industry, namely to methods of producing dry extracts of medicinal plants used as a fodder additive for feeding farm animals and poultry. Method of producing a dry extract of chlorella involves grinding chlorella biomass, wetting in a water-ethanol solution, successively carrying out, first, a two-step water-ethanol extraction with intense boiling under vacuum, and then extraction with distilled water, combining and concentrating the obtained extracts, drying the thick extract.
EFFECT: above described method allows to optimize modes of water-ethanol extraction and drying, to reduce consumption of reagents and duration of process, higher yield and quality, and also reduce the cost of subsequent purification, concentration and drying of the resulting product.
