SUBSTANCE: method for producing a dry extract of orchard grass for farm animals and birds involves grinding raw materials and wetting it in a water-ethanol solution, then transferring it into an extractor, pouring with a water-ethanol solution, heating to 25 °C and at the first stage, performing extraction under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, and mass of raw material is repeatedly poured with water-ethanol solution, heated to 25 °C and extraction is carried out under vacuum, after which the extract is drained, the obtained mass at the third stage is poured with distilled water and extraction is carried out at modulus of 1 kg ÷ 2 l for 30 minutes, after which the extract is also drained, the obtained extracts are combined and concentrated in a vacuum, and the thick extract is dried to a dry state, is characterized by that the raw material in the form of dry orchard grass leaves and panicles are wetted with 25% water-ethanol solution, pouring is carried out with a water-ethanol solution at the first stage of 25%, and at the second stage, 50…55% is performed, and at the third stage, extraction is carried out at relative pressure of (-0.96)…(-0.98) kgf/cm2.
EFFECT: invention allows to optimize modes of water-ethanol extraction and drying, to reduce consumption of reagents and duration of process, to increase output of end product and its quality, namely to increase solubility, to more completely separate ballast substances.
