SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of ultrajet processing, diagnostics of materials and to production of activated suspensions, and can be used in various industries: mining, chemical, metallurgical, etc. The method for processing consists in combining the process of dispersing the solid phase with the process of suspension forming by impacting the solid phase of the liquid jet. The jet is formed in a nozzle jet-forming unit and has a specific kinetic energy and impact time at the moment of interaction with the solid phase sufficient for destructing the material of the solid phase. The impact on the solid phase is executed by a supersonic liquid jet. The solid phase is used as a target constituting a compact solid material. When the impact is executed on the target by a supersonic liquid jet, the location of the contact spot of the supersonic liquid jet on the surface of the target is changed in time to maintain the efficiency of destruction of the target. The processing of the structurally inhomogeneous hydraulic medium is repeated until the required stabilisation of acoustic emission signals - high-frequency elastic deformation waves generated in the area of contact of the jet with the target and registered by piezoelectric transducers.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption and processing time, ensured stability of homogenisation of a hydraulic medium.
