SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bayonet-type quick-connect assembly for use when attaching a filtering cartridge or a filtration element to an apparatus consuming a fluid medium. The system for connecting the element for filtering a fluid medium comprises a connector for connection with the element for filtering a fluid medium, wherein the element for filtering a fluid medium comprises an end covering element equipped with a first connecting tool, and the connector comprises a second connecting tool. The first connecting tool comprises an essentially cylindrical channel with an inner threaded structure consisting of a row of threaded segments interrupted due to non-interacting segments. The second connecting tool comprises an essentially cylindrical protruding part (110) with an outer threaded structure consisting of a row of threaded segments (120) interrupted due to non-threaded segments (130), or vice versa. The non-threaded segments (130) are distributed along the circumference of the cylindrical protruding part (110) so as to ensure only the sliding of the cylindrical channel along the cylindrical protruding part (110) without interaction between the threaded segments (120) and said threaded segments of the cylindrical channel when the cylindrical channel and the cylindrical protruding part (100) are in one of a set of predetermined ranges of relative angular positions. The threaded segments (120) are provided to ensure engagement with said threaded segments of the cylindrical channel when the cylindrical channel has slid along the cylindrical protruding part (110) by rotation. The threaded segments are formed on the multiple circular protrusions. The threaded segments and circular protrusions are provided to eliminate rotational symmetry.

EFFECT: ensured correct installation of the filtering element, impossibility of installing an inappropriate filter element, maintained compatibility with previous systems based on the thread for screwing.
