FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filter with a filtering element for filtration of fluid media, in particular, gases of sucked air, fuel, urea solution or engine oil of a vehicle internal combustion engine or ambient air for supply to systems of ventilation of buildings or vehicles. The filter for filtration of fluid media comprises a filtering element comprising a zigzag-shaped folded filtering medium with dirty side and clean side. On the dirty side and/or on the clean side of the filtering medium there are many extended adhesive segments along at least two adhesive paths on the filtering medium, which at least on separate sections pass in inclined manner or perpendicular to ribs of folds. On each adhesive path there is at least one adhesive segment and at least one non-adhesive rupture. Non-adhesive ruptures of different adhesive paths, looked at in direction of fold ribs, are placed as shifted relative to each other so that via non-adhesive ruptures in one fragment of the medium, which passes between two adjacent ribs of folds, in parallel to ribs of folds, a solid passage is not created.

EFFECT: increasing stability of a filtering element with maximum high heights of folds and increased efficiency of a filter.
