FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms for movement of goods, in particular to winding devices for movement of goods, and can be used at enterprises of the locomotive industry for towing railway cars. Shunting capstan comprises housing, engine, planetary reduction gear and winding drum. Housing is closed from above with a flange cover with a central hole, an adapter with a central hole is fixed on the flange cover, in central holes of flange cover and adapter shaft of planetary reduction gear is arranged, connected to shaft of winding drum, the shaft of the winding drum is installed in bearings of the adapter and is connected to the winding drum.
EFFECT: simplified design of shunting capstan, improved operational properties.
