Light source can consist of one or more LEDs arranged on a flexible printed circuit board and a tip adapter assembly, configured to supply light directly to patient's skin from a light source located on a printed circuit board adjacent to the surface of the scalp. Control circuit, functionally connected to the printed circuit board, is designed to supply energy to one or more zones of light-emitting diodes to create hair loss treatment modes, including spot baldness, bald patches, crown baldness and general treatment of scalp. Accordingly, the portable non-contact wireless light therapy device can be made in the form of a headgear worn by the patient, to minimize the negative psychological association of hair loss, while providing effective treatment of hair growth at an affordable price.
