FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: phototherapeutic unit comprises the first waterproof and flexible layer having an inner surface and an outer surface applied to the target treatment area, the second waterproof and flexible layer, a gel that is held by at least part of the inner surface of the first waterproof and flexible layer in the compartments to provide substantially uniform gel distribution over the flexible board, a flexible board located between the first and second waterproof and flexible layers, the second waterproof and flexible layer comprises the first waterproof film applied to the first side of the flexible board and the second waterproof film applied to the second side of the flexible board, at least one light source located on the flexible board and configured to provide therapeutic effect on the target area of treatment of a living being. At that, at least one light source emits light through the second waterproof film, the sealing material, the gel and the first waterproof and flexible layer to the target treatment area. The gel, the first waterproof and flexible layer and the second waterproof and flexible layer are sealed with sealing material to provide a waterproof gel package. The flexible board is embedded in the waterproof gel package. The phototherapeutic system comprises a phototherapeutic unit and a docking station comprising at least one heating and/or cooling element for heating of gel of the gel package and/or a power source to charge at least one energy storage part of the gel package. In the second version, the phototherapeutic system comprises, in addition to the phototherapeutic unit, a topical composition applied to the target treatment area. A method for increase of absorption and/or penetration of the topical composition into the target treatment area consists in application of the phototherapeutic unit to the target treatment area of a living being. The phototherapeutic unit is used as a hot or cold package, and provision of a topical composition between the phototherapeutic unit and the target treatment area.
EFFECT: use of inventions allows to expand the arsenal of man-wearable phototherapeutic gel packages.
