FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optics, radiophotonics, and systems for radio and optical location, fibre-optic and wireless communication, and can be used in radiophotonic channels of radio-electronic systems for receiving and processing optical information. The invention constitutes a radiophotonic analogue-to-digital converter containing, functionally and structurally coupled, an optical splitter, a high-speed photodetector, a high-frequency electronic comparator, introduced signal shaper, optical splitters, an optical modulator, an optical insulator, an optical coherent unifier, an optical delay line, a clock pulse generator, wherein the photodetector by the output thereof is connected in series with the electronic comparator and the n-digit digital signal shaper, the output of the electronic comparator is connected with the electric input of the optical modulator, wherein the signal shaping units of each of the N digits are connected in series. The signal shaper constitutes an electronic threshold element with a preset electrical signal delay time.
EFFECT: structural simplification of the radiophotonic ADC.
