SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to aqua vending machines, i.e. to vending machines for drinking water taken from a water supply network subjected to multistage purification using reverse osmosis, and dispensing purified water into a water buyer container. Method consists in the fact that tap water is taken, water is filtered, separated into permeate and concentrate by means of reverse osmosis membrane. Then the permeate is modified by adjusting its organoleptic properties, mineral composition and pH. Immediately after modification, permeate is disinfected with ultraviolet light. Modified and decontaminated permeate is supplied at the request of the buyer in preset amount to its container, the inner space of which is preliminarily ozonized.
EFFECT: concentration of all operations of permeate modification in one module, so that all of them precede ultraviolet disinfection of permeate, which excludes repeated contamination of permeate through means of modification and improves quality of final drinking water.
