FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-pressure homogenizer. Homogenizer (100) comprises a displacement piston pump including a plurality of pistons (10), a hydraulic cylinder for each piston (10), homogenizing valve (20), a linear motion transmission means (5), control unit (40) configured to actuate means (5) so that each piston (10) is subject to reciprocating motion in accordance with a predetermined law of motion, which does not depend on laws of motion of other pistons (10). Device (5) is an electrohydrostatic drive comprising a brushless motor and a pump, directly driven in accordance with clockwise or counterclockwise direction of rotation in response to a pulse received from the engine. Pump is designed so that to enable functional action on pistons (10) and, thus, to create pressure in the front or rear chamber of the corresponding cylinder.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of homogenisation.
