FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: system contains an electric motor, a pump, a converter and a controller. The electric motor comprises of an output shaft rotating in the first direction of rotation and in the opposite second direction of rotation. The pump comprises of an input linearly moving shaft movable in the first linear direction and in the opposite second linear direction. The converter connects the output shaft to the input shaft so that the rotation of the output shaft in the first direction of rotation transfers translational motion to the input shaft in the first linear direction and the rotation of the output shaft in the second direction of rotation transfers translational motion in the second linear direction to the input shaft. The controller repeatedly reverses the rotation of the output shaft and thus provides reciprocating motion of the input shaft. The controller is designed to gradually increase the stroke length of the pump shaft up to the maximum stroke length, and then gradually reduce the stroke length down to the minimum stroke length.
EFFECT: increase of the life of the pump system.
