FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology, namely to a method for determining the coordinates of an overhead crane, and can be used to measure the coordinates of the movement of the crane relative to the crane platform. Determining the coordinates of an overhead crane consists in translating the resistance of the rail section into a length value. A device is used that measures the resistance of the rail section from the crane to the edge of the crane platform, the total resistance used to calculate the coordinates is calculated, the ends of the rails are connected with a cable to the measuring part of the device, the resistance of the rail is measured using a measuring bridge, the diagonal of which includes the measured resistance. The bridge converts the resistance into a DC voltage, which is amplified by the op amp's differential amplifier, then the analog signal is converted into discrete values by a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter, the microcontroller of the device is interrogated by interruption by an analog-to-digital converter and measurement data is received via the i2C bus, the obtained data are placed in the clipboard, the discrete value is calculated after averaging the buffer, the rail length is searched from edge to faucet, the calibration procedure is performed using a laser rangefinder and a mobile phone.
EFFECT: increase in the speed and accuracy of measurements is achieved by determining the coordinates through the resistance of the rail section.
