SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and, in particular, to a method and an apparatus for determining the format of an interval and to a data medium. Method of determining interval format includes receiving by terminal device indicating signal, wherein the indicator signal has a first association with possibility of transmission along a downlink; and the terminal device determining the interval format based on the indicating signal.
EFFECT: reducing the number of transmitted overhead signals and increasing the efficiency of the communication system due to the fact that the interval format corresponding to the downlink transmission capability, may be indicated by an indication signal which is not a common group PDCCH.
