SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is a rail braking system comprising control device (2) having valve (20) equipped with housing (21) comprising cavity (49), and spool (40), having inner chamber (60), feeding (61) and drain (62) recesses, which have, each, a common cross-section for passage of working pressure medium, having a shape with a vertex, and installed movably in said cavity with possibility of movement between a supply position, in which said supply recess is located opposite to said housing supply groove (50), and a drain position, in which said drain recess is located opposite drain channel (51) of said housing; wherein said device is configured to receive a substantially stable control configuration, in which said pressure value of said working pressure medium is limited to a predetermined value, and in which said slide valve is located in said cavity such that adjusting recess (63) of said spool is located opposite adjusting groove (52) of said housing, while said feed and drain recesses are located at a distance from said feed and drain flutes, respectively.
EFFECT: simplicity of braking system and convenience of its maintenance.
