SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle seat lengthwise displacement device. Device for longitudinal movement contains a pair of parallel slides. Each of the parallel slides comprises a lower guide and an upper guide held by the lower guide with possibility of longitudinal movement. Each lower guide is characterized by a cross-section with the shape of the letter “U” directed upwards, contains a lower wall and a pair of parallel vertical walls directed upwards, having at the ends bent inwards and downwards sides. Each upper guide is characterized by a cross section with the shape of the letter “U” directed downwards, contains an upper wall and a pair of parallel vertical walls directed downwards, having at the ends bent outwards and upwards sides. Upper guide sides bent outwards and upwards are engaged under lower guide sides bent inwards and downwards. Balls are arranged between top and bottom guides. Lower and upper guide channels are formed on each side of guides for balls. In normal operation the balls in the lower guide ball channel are in contact with the second section of the lower guide ball channel in its linear area, while they are located at a distance from its bending area. In normal operation the balls in the upper guide ball channel are in contact with the second section of the upper guide ball channel only in its linear area, while they are located at a distance from its bending area.

EFFECT: higher stability and reduced force of longitudinal movement at longitudinal movement of upper guides relative to lower guides.
