SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology. Distributed acoustic probing system comprises a coherent laser source generating light with a small line width, a first amplifier and filter unit, optical pulse generator, radio frequency signal generator, circulator, measuring cable, third amplifier and filter unit. Device comprises a receiver digitizing the measured signal, a non-coherent laser source generating a CW laser with a large line width to attenuate the effect of coherent interference or coherence length for light introduced into the cable, when the optical pulse generator is in the off state, the second amplifier and filter unit, which controls the power of the CW laser generated by the incoherent laser source, and filtering it so that the resultant incoherent light has a large line width; wherein its power is comparable to power of coherent leakage light, introduced, when the optical pulse generator is in the off state, a combination unit combining the optical signal and directing the combined signal to the circulator.
EFFECT: improved performance, elimination of signal attenuation.
