FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, namely, to devices used in geophysical surveys of wells, and can be used in the production of works on wells with an open wellhead without installing a lubricator or other equipment that closes the wellhead. The device contains a bracket having a prefabricated structure, consisting of rods, with one end fixed on the opposite ends of the axis of the suspension roller of the geophysical cable suspension system, the other ends of the rods are fixed on the body of the gripping mechanism and the hollow cylinder, respectively. The gripping mechanism, consisting of a spring and a conical limiter placed in the housing, is combined with a hollow cylinder by a transverse beam. The body of the gripping mechanism and the hollow cylinder are made with vertical slots and cover both cable strings, each with its own, respectively.
EFFECT: dropping or “winding” on the roller of a geophysical instrument after a break in its cable in emergency situations is excluded.
