FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing catalysts. A method is described for obtaining a catalyst for reforming gasoline fractions by impregnating the formed granules of an aluminum oxide-based carrier with solutions containing platinum compounds and ammonium chloride, possibly acetic and/or oxalic acid, possibly a promotor, followed by drying and calcining the granules at a temperature of 450-650°C, and the content of ammonium chloride in the impregnation solution is 1-5 in weight percentage.
EFFECT: preparation of a catalyst for reforming gasoline fractions without the use of hydrochloric acid.
