SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mixing device. Mixing device comprises container (1) rotating around container axis for receiving mixed material, with hole (7) for emptying, located in its bottom, rotating mixing tool (2) located inside container (1), and closing element (8) for closing opening (7) for emptying, wherein closing element (8) can rotate about axis (14) of rotation for opening and closing opening (7) for emptying, wherein closing element (8) has an inner surface which, when emptying opening (7) is located inside container (1), an outer surface which, when emptying opening (7) is closed, is located outside container (1), and an edge surface, which when emptying opening (7) is located opposite to an edge surface of emptying opening (7), closing element (8), emptying opening (7) and rotation axis (14) are made and arranged so that the point located farthest from rotation axis (14) on the inner surface or the edge surface of closing element (8) describes a circle in the rotary movement, wherein closing element (8) is located inside the circle, and the edge surfaces of emptying hole (7) are located outside the circle, wherein closing element (8) ends at the same level with bottom, so that flat bottom surface is provided when closing element (8) is located in hole (7) for emptying.

EFFECT: providing a mixing device which enables to transfer the mixed material over a relatively small cross-section.
