FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a multifunctional spontaneous ignition inhibitor for bituminous coal in form of a foaming concentrate. Described is a multifunctional spontaneous ignition inhibitor, obtained in the form of a foaming concentrate, which is configured so that it is sprayed together with water and air and distributed and applied on bituminous coal in a foamed state, wherein the spontaneous combustion inhibitor is obtained by mixing 7–13 wt. % of the antioxidant, 20–40 wt. % of a volatile substance activation inhibitor, 20–40 wt. % of an emulsifying composition and 20–40 wt. % of water, wherein the antioxidant contains phenylenediamine, the volatile substance activation inhibitor contains methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), emulsifying composition contains 25–40 wt. % of butyl diglycol, 2–10 wt. % of glycol ether, 3–10 wt. % of non-ionic surfactant and 45–65 wt. % of emulsifier based on castor oil.

EFFECT: inhibiting spontaneous ignition of bituminous coal, preventing dispersion of bituminous coal, preventing occurrence of problems due to spontaneous combustion, such as failure of power plants, formation of wastes and odor from bituminous coal, in providing economical, safe and environmentally friendly operation of power plant.
