FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, specifically to a method for extracting threonine from an aqueous solution. The method includes the preparation of an aqueous salt solution of threonine, extraction and analysis of the equilibrium aqueous phase. The method is characterized by the fact that an aqueous salt solution of threonine is prepared with a concentration of 2.5-3.0 mg/cm3, while the content of ammonium sulfate salting agent in the solution is 15-20 wt. %,, then extracted for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 22±1°C with the use of a solution of N-vinyl formamide copolymer with 1-vinyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (VF-VDMP) with a concentration of 0.24 g/cm3 at a volume ratio of threonine water-salt solution and copolymer 5:1. Next, the aqueous phase is separated from the organic one and centrifuged for 5-10 minutes at 5000 rpm. Then the threonine content in the aqueous phase is determined, the distribution coefficients D and the degree of extraction R (%) of threonine are calculated.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to increase the degree of threonine extraction from an aqueous solution.
