FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of equipment for personal hygiene. The manual apparatus for personal hygiene comprises a main body, a working unit, light sources, and an optically transparent light guide. The optically transparent light guide includes a light receiving surface, a light emitting surface, and a light guide element. The light guide element extends from the light receiving surface to the light emitting surface. The light source is located in the waterproof chamber of the main body. The main body comprises an optically transparent part of the wall, located near the light source and limiting the waterproof chamber. The light guide is located outside of the waterproof chamber. The light receiving surface is located near the optically transparent part of the wall in a position for receiving light from the light source by means of the optically transparent part of the wall.
EFFECT: protection of the light source of the illumination system of the apparatus for personal hygiene from liquids and dust.
