FIELD: radiochemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radiochemical industry and is intended for use in the technological line of industrial processing of spent fuel assemblies (SFA), irradiated in nuclear reactors. The spent fuel assembly tilter contains a cover for placing SFAs with the possibility of rotation under the action of a drive brought out through the penetration in the protective wall to the outside, with a built-in shaft of rotation of the cover, sensors for track automation. The case, which can be rotated by 90° to a horizontal position in one direction or another to accommodate SFAs above the axis of rotation, is equipped with two extended sockets. The nests are interconnected by plates, where in the lower part of each there are rotary supports with levers interacting with the limiter. The swivel bearings are connected by a return spring, and the cover rotation shaft is rigidly connected to it in its center of gravity.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the design of the tilter.
