FIELD: aircraft maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the protection of aircraft from icing. The device for preventing the formation of barrier ice behind the leading edge of the wing of the aircraft contains a container (4), a centrifugal pump (5), input channels (6) and output channels (6). The flap (3) separates the container (4) from the atmosphere. The pump (5) connects the input channels (6) with the output channels (7). The input channels are designed to receive water droplets from the tank, and the output channels are designed to release water droplets into the atmosphere.
EFFECT: increased protection against icing of the wing is achieved and the formation of barrier ice behind the leading edge is excluded.
