FIELD: technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technology, in particular to universal horizontal length gauges. The length gauge consists of a frame with guides, a measuring carriage with a holder, a fixed holder and a computing unit. To take readings from the scales of calibrated measuring instruments, a digital video camera is additionally installed. A block of measuring tips is mounted on a fixed holder with the possibility of motorized movement in the axial direction. On the holder of the measuring carriage there is a block of measuring tips with the possibility of motorized movement in the axial and longitudinal directions.
EFFECT: performance improvement is achieved.
