FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to wheel pairs of freight car bogies. The wheel pair includes an axle with pressed-on wheels, bearing assemblies and balancers. Each balancer is a cast steel with asymmetrical ends. The end parts are closed by an arched opening. A vertically oriented hole is made in the center of the lower part of the opening. The hole is formed by vertical and inclined walls located opposite each other. The hole is made expanding towards the bottom of the balance bar.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to control the temperature of bearing assemblies by means of ground sensors.
