FIELD: printing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making printed articles. Composition for printing contains a compound of formula (I)
,
where X is CR6R7; R1, R2, R3, R4, R6, R7 is H, C1-C6-alkyl, C1-C6-alkoxy or C1-C6-alkoxy-C1-C6-alkyl; R5 is H or C1-C6-alkyl; k is equal to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. Composition also includes a monomer having two (meth)acrylate groups and a molecular weight of not more than 500 Da, a polymer having at least two (meth)acrylate groups and a molecular weight of at least 700 Da, and a dye. Amount of the compound of formula (I) and the monomer having two (meth)acrylate groups is at least 50 wt. %. Composition can additionally contain a monomer having at least three (meth)acrylate groups and a molecular weight of not more than 600 Da, a photoinitiator, a stabilizer and other monomers. Invention also discloses a composition for use as a varnish, use of the composition and a printing method.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a combination of low viscosity, high reactivity and adhesion to plastic substrates in jet printing.
