SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pipe for a cable and to a method of compressing the outer surface of the wall of the pipe for a cable by means of tensioning means. Tube comprises tubular wall with inner and outer surfaces. Tension means is provided for the outer surface of the pipe wall. Tensioning device is configured so that to exert a compression force around the tubular wall of the pipe in the longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: invention discloses a pipe for a cable, which is equipped with a tension means, as well as a method of compressing the outer surface of the wall of the pipe for a cable by means of tension means.
