FIELD: erosion-resistant coatings production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the formation of coatings based on silver, nickel, nickel nitrides Ni3N, Ni4N, nickel carbides NiC, NiC0,33 and carbon on copper electrical contacts, which can be used in electrical engineering. The method includes an electric explosion of a three-layer composite electrically exploded conductor, one of the layers of which consists of silver foil weighing 60-360 mg, the second layer is made of nickel equal to 0.5-2.0 mass of the first layer, and the third layer is made of carbon-graphite fiber equal to 0 .5-1.0 masses of the first layer, formation of a pulsed multiphase plasma jet from the explosion products, melting the surface of a copper electrical contact with it at an absorbed power density of 4.5-6.5 GW/m2, deposition on the surface of the explosion products and formation of a coating of the Ni-C-Ag system on it, nitriding during 3-5 hours at a temperature of 500-600°C and subsequent pulse-periodic electron-beam treatment of the surface of the coating at an absorbed energy density of 40-60 J/cm2, a pulse duration of 150-200 µs and a number of 10-30 pulses.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining electrical erosion-resistant coatings with high electrical conductivity, electrical erosion resistance and adhesion to the substrate at the level of cohesion.
