FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of potassium fertilizers. Method of producing granulated potassium chloride involves drying of flotation potassium chloride, granulation by pressing, conditioning of granules with introduction of hydrophobic additives. Before the drying step, sodium metasilicate solution is added to potassium chloride in amount of 0.3–1.25 kg/t in terms of dry value. Conditioning of granules is carried out with a mixture of industrial oil and octadecylamine in ratio 84/16–92/08 in amount of not less than 2.5 l/t of granulate.
EFFECT: invention reduces hygroscopicity and increases strength of granules.
