FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: first, ultrasonic treatment of a suspension of potassium chloride is performed at a frequency of 30 kHz, an intensity of 20-50 W, a duration of 30-120 s. Then the amine foam is separated and collected by purging the suspension with air, and the potassium chloride flotation concentrate suspension is sent to filtration. The filtered flotation concentrate is dried and granulated by pressing. The bar produced by pressing is crushed to produce granules.
EFFECT: increased strength of potassium chloride granules without the use of additives due to removal of amines from the surface of its particles by ultrasound.
