FIELD: simulated smoking devices.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a dry powder inhaled composition for simulating the effects of smoking. Dry powder nicotine-based composition containing particles, wherein the particles comprise: nicotine salt, at least one sugar, and at least one amino acid selected from the group consisting of glycine, lysine, leucine, and a combination thereof, wherein the particles have a size from 1 to 7 mcm, wherein the concentration of nicotine is from 0.5 to 10 wt.%, and the concentration of at least one sugar is from 50 to 99 wt.%, and wherein the composition is suitable for inhalation for simulating the effects of smoking. Dry powdered nicotine-based composition consisting of particles containing nicotine, at least one sugar, menthol, and at least one amino acid selected from the group consisting of glycine, lysine, and leucine, wherein the particles have a size from 1 to 7 mcm, wherein the concentration of nicotine is from 0.5 to 10 wt.%, and the concentration of at least one sugar is from 50 to 99 wt.%, wherein the composition is suitable for inhalation for simulating the effects of smoking. Dry powder nicotine-based composition containing from 0.5 to 10 wt.% of nicotine, from 50 to 99 wt.% of at least one sugar, and leucine, wherein the dry powder nicotine-based composition comprises a flavouring component and nicotine-containing particles, at least one sugar, and leucine, wherein the particles have a size from 1 to 7 mcm, and wherein the composition is suitable for inhalation for simulating the effects of smoking.

EFFECT: above compositions are effective for simulating the effects of smoking, including for quitting smoking, introduction of an amino acid reduces the degradation of the composition, improves the fluidity of the powder.
