FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organosilicon peroxides and methods for production thereof. Proposed 3,3-dialkyl-7,7-diphenyl-1,2,4,5,7-tetraoxasilocanes of general formula 1 and a method of producing them by reacting bis(methoxymethyl)diphenylsilane with the corresponding gem-dihydroperoxide.
EFFECT: proposed 3,3-dialkyl-7,7-diphenyl-1,2,4,5,7-tetraoxasilocanes can be used in producing polymers, as hydroxylation, peroxidation and oxidation reagents, and the disclosed method enables to obtain compounds of formula 1 selectively with good output.
