SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of structures and can be used in the construction of underground buildings and structures in the under-channel space of canals or rivers in the conditions of close development of modern megacities. The method for erecting underground structures in the under-channel space of a river or canal in the conditions of existing development is characterized by temporary blocking of the water flow by means of dams, with the launch of the water flow along a temporarily created route, drainage and dewatering in a selected section of the channel, the subsequent erection of enclosing walls with the placement of equipment at the bottom of the channel, excavation of a pit and the installation of a reinforced concrete foundation and frame, followed by the restoration of the water regime on top of the underground structure. Along the banks of the canal, temporary dams are washed or filled, on which technological equipment is placed for the construction of a "wall in the ground". The erection of the longitudinal enclosing walls of the underground structure is carried out without blocking the water flow, which is passed through the bypass pipes. Then the transverse dams are poured and the transverse walls of the complex are erected from them. Then, water is pumped out from the fenced-off part of the canal, then soil is excavated in the pit and the structures of the complex are erected without lowering the level of groundwater in the surrounding area.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of constructing underground buildings and structures under and along the channel of water channels or rivers, without lowering the level of groundwater in the surrounding area, as well as providing a quick and technically simpler method for construction, taking into account the minimum impact of construction work on the surrounding buildings.
