FIELD: simulation systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military affairs, and more specifically to the means of simulating moving military vehicles, and can be used for engineering equipment of false ways of advancing troops from the areas of location, to the lines of attack (counterattack), to the places of false crossing sites and on them, as well as in false areas of concentration and those initial in the interests of ensuring the display of the vital activity of troops when the enemy conducts aerospace and ground reconnaissance by means of infrared (thermal) and radar reconnaissance with selection of moving targets. The simulator (1) contains a re-emitter, radar reflectors and a source of thermal energy (4). At the same time, it is made in the form of a single closed structure containing a platelike housing (5) and a lid (6). As a re-emitter, with a through hole in its central part (7), a perforated tube with a closed end having a through outlet with a safety spring fixed above it is installed in the geometric center of the housing. A container made of a glass flask with water (11) is placed inside the tube. A pneumatic cylinder is put on top, with the ability to freely pass through the hole in the re-emitter, on which an adjustable throttle (13), a hollow rod, a support disc (15), a return spring (16) and a safety check (17) are installed. The connection of the pneumatic cylinder with the re-emitter, due to the installation of a sleeve and an O-ring, is hermetically sealed. Radar reflectors are made in the form of four mutually perpendicular triangular planes made of metallized polymer film with rigid fastening of the lower ends of their faces with slats at right angles to the outer surface of the re-emitter, and the vertices to the support disc. As a source of thermal energy, a chemical reaction of an anhydrous substance, isocyanate, placed on the bottom of the housing, with water, accompanied by the release of heated gas, is used.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the operational characteristics of the simulator by mechanizing its installation, ensuring operation in a given time range, as well as increasing the efficiency of simulating moving equipment simultaneously from infrared (thermal) and radar, with the selection of moving targets, reconnaissance.
