SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used to fix hopvines and other climbing plants on trellises. The method consists in pre-forming a trellis suspended on pillars, consisting of a longitudinal wire stretched between the pillars at a height of 6-7 m above the ground, on which vertical supports are suspended, the lower free ends of which are tied to a nylon thread stretched along the bed and attached to the ground with anchors, located at a distance from the hopvine stems. Then the hopvines are manually wound up on the supports, the stems having a length ranging from 15 to 60 cm or located from the supports within 25-45 cm are directed to the support using an arc made of a flexible elastic element in the form of a wire, one end of which is stuck into the soil at the root of the hopvine, and the other end is stuck near supports on the opposite side of the stem, having previously given it the shape of an arc, concave upwards and touching the support. In this case, the section of the arc from the hopvine to the point of contact with the support has an ascending trajectory, and the other section is descending, the lower end of the support is previously moved along the nylon thread and placed in opposition to the hopvine. The end of the arc at the hopvine is stuck into the soil so that the arc is relative to the support from the leeward side and tilted towards the support at an angle to the horizon by 80 degrees.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to repeatedly increase the productivity of the operation, increase the yield of hops and reduce the agrotechnical timing of the plant.
