SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-providing article and an aerosol-providing system. An aerosol-providing article intended for use in an aerosol-providing system for the purpose of creating an aerosol-containing inhaled medium when the user inhales through the system, containing at least a first heating element and a second heating element for heating the liquid from the tank in order to generate an aerosol flow, and an area for placing the substance, wherein the aerosol flow passes through said area during use, heating said substance until exiting the aerosol-forming agent, wherein said substance changes the properties of the aerosol flow, and at least the first heating element and the second heating element are arranged so as to additionally heat the substance in said area, wherein at least the first heating element and the second heating element are located in the same plane.
EFFECT: intensity of the aroma of tobacco is increased and more components such as nicotine are captured by the aerosol flow.
