FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating material heating apparatus, to an aerosol-generating material evaporating apparatus and to an aerosol stream generation system. The aerosol-generating material heating apparatus comprises a heating chamber for receiving the aerosol-generating material and a first heating tool for heating the aerosol-generating material located during use in the heating chamber. The first heating tool is configured to heat the aerosol-generating material located in the heating chamber from at least two sides. The apparatus also comprises an air stream channel located outside of the heating chamber and passing along the first heating tool so that air enters the apparatus and passes through said channel when the user inhales using the system containing the apparatus, preheating in the channel by the first heating tool before passing into the heating chamber and through the aerosol-generating material.

EFFECT: heating of the air stream supplied to the apparatus is optimised due to limiting the annular air stream path by an air guiding apparatus and a second heating tool, wherein the air flow guiding apparatus is optionally heated.
