FIELD: physical culture.

SUBSTANCE: gastrocnemius muscle simulator belongs to the field of physical culture and sports, in particular to training devices for the development of human muscle strength, and can be used in gyms, at home and medical institutions. The simulator includes a base, a footrest, a support handstand. The base of the simulator contains longitudinal and transverse elements interfaced with each other. The ends of the transverse elements of the base are located at a distance from the longitudinal elements of the base and have pads made of anti-slip material. Two longitudinal elements of the base have a platform on which a hinge assembly is fixed, located above the longitudinal element of the base and connected to it through a support. Platforms with a hinged node are placed opposite each other. The footrest has a rim along the perimeter, on two opposite sides on the outer surface of which an axis is made for fixing the footrest in the hinge nodes of the simulator with the possibility of swinging the footbed around the horizontal axis passing perpendicular to the longitudinal elements of the base. The base of the simulator has a supporting handstand, which is located at an angle to the base and is connected to the transverse element of the base. The handstand has supports that are connected with the rack at one end and with the longitudinal element of the base at the other. At the end opposite from the base, the rack has a double-shouldered lever, at the ends of which there are grippers made of anti-slip material.

EFFECT: creating a simulator for the gastrocnemius muscles of a simple and safe design with the ability to perform exercises in a standing position.
