SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a folding ski for sports or military purposes. Folding ski (1), according to the invention, contains front ski section (2), rear ski section (3), a folding connection that inseparably connects rear end (2b) of the front ski section to front end (3a) of the rear ski section, connecting platform (5) that is designed to increase the stiffness of folding connection (4) and is made with the possibility of rotation around its rotation axis (a) that passes perpendicular to the upper ski surface, in which the connecting platform is directly pivotally connected to front (2) or rear (3) ski section.

EFFECT: functional ski without a retention protrusion with a fixing mechanism located on the front end of the front ski section is proposed, wherein the protrusion is used to attach a connecting platform in a folded state of the ski.
