FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline engineering and can be used for pipeline systems subjected to significant loads during operation, e.g., in reclamation systems, and for field pipelines in the petroleum and gas industry. Hybrid metal composite pipe comprises a metal pipe, an external composite shell in the form of annular fibres connected by a polymer binder, and an internal composite shell in the form of annular fibres connected by the polymer binder. The metal pipe is formed by one or multiple solid or perforated longitudinal elements arranged circumferentially in one or multiple layers. The longitudinal elements forming the pipe are interconnected and connected with the external and internal shells by means of the polymer binder. Glass, basalt, carbon, or aramid threads are used as annular fibres of the composite shells. The polymer binder contains mineral additives in the form of glass microspheres, basalt powder, cement, or a combination thereof.
EFFECT: increase in the structural strength, corrosion resistance, and operating life of the hybrid metal composite pipe with a simultaneous reduction in the material consumption and manufacture cost thereof.
