FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, in particular, to valve engineering, and is intended for protecting the systems of power units from the pressure of the medium therein exceeding the permitted limit. The safety valve comprises a body, a cover, a bellows tightly connected with the body and the movable element connected with the sealing assembly, a locking mechanism including a spring-loaded separator with cylindrical inserts and a support ring, and a setting unit, the latter is located outside of the valve on the outer end side of the cover and consists of a thrust nut, a support ring, and pushers located in the holes of the cover, sealed with sealing rings and contacting the support ring of the locking mechanism by the end.
EFFECT: creation of a safety valve maintaining the operability during manufacture and operation with a predetermined actuation pressure due to the unit for setting the working compression force of the spring of the locking mechanism without subsequent disassembly thereof and simultaneously with the installation of the tool for monitoring the actuation pressure.
