FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, mainly to safety devices for protecting tank containers used for storing and transporting liquefied gases and petroleum products from exceeding the pressure of the medium in excess of the permissible limit. The safety valve comprises a flange in which a through hole is made with a sealing seat in the upper part, a stem with a sealing band pressed against the seat by springs, a deflecting plate fixed on the stem, and a sealing element installed between the stem and the plate. The rod is made in the form of a hollow cylinder with a blind bottom on the flange side and a cylindrical wall, the inner cavity of which is a passage channel connected from the side of the protected container with the working medium, and through the windows made in the cylindrical wall, connected to the flange passage opening.
EFFECT: proposed safety valve provides an increase in throughput, an increase in operational reliability and an increase in the operating pressure range of the medium.
