FIELD: cryogenic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic fuel tanks and can be used as a system for local storage of LNG on cars, heavy vehicles and other transportation means. Cryogenic fuel tank for transportation of liquefied natural gas on vehicles includes a sealed membrane placed inside an intermediate shell, fixed to it by four pairs of pneumatic shock absorbers. Shock absorbers are connected to inner wall of intermediate shell by fixed supports, with tight membrane — by hinged joints. Tank comprises a layer of screen-vacuum heat insulation located in the cavity between the intermediate shell and the outer protective shell, connected by thermal bridges of cylindrical type. Filling pipeline comprises a perforated tube with multiple holes, a flexible part in the form of a metal hose, a check valve, shutoff and control valve, pneumatic drive and filling neck. Fuel liquid phase thermal expansion compensation system consists of a float-type compensator tank with a connecting pipe, connecting upper part of compensator and space of sealed membrane, drain tube with check valve. System for maintaining a stable stationary position of the LNG mirror includes a control unit connected by a communication system with a tank position sensor, it is connected by communication system with compressor to force air into pneumatic shock absorbers via pipelines via check valve, distribution manifold and automatic valves.

EFFECT: providing a long period of drainless storage of cryogenic fuel in an on-board tank installed on a vehicle, by adjusting the position of the cryogenic container to maintain a stable position of the liquefied gas, preventing an increase in excess pressure and temperature stratification, which will make it possible to increase energy efficiency of fuel plant, increasing its economic and ecological indices.
