FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multiplier modulo three. The multiplier comprises four XOR elements and three AND elements, wherein the first, second inputs of the jth and the first, second inputs of the third AND elements are connected with the output of the jth EXCLUSIVE OR element, the output of the third AND element and the outputs of the third, fourth EXCLUSIVE OR elements, respectively, and the first, second inputs of the (j+2)th EXCLUSIVE OR element and the output of the jth AND element are connected with the (2×j-1)th, (2×j)th inputs and the jth output of the multiplier modulo three, respectively, characterised by the fact that introduced thereto is the fifth EXCLUSIVE OR element, the first, second, and third inputs of the jth EXCLUSIVE OR element are connected with the second input of the third, (3-j)th input of the fourth, and the first input of the fifth EXCLUSIVE OR elements, respectively, and the first, second inputs and the output of the fifth EXCLUSIVE OR element are connected with the fifth, sixth inputs of the multiplier modulo three, and the third input of the third AND element, respectively.
EFFECT: expansion of the operational capabilities of the apparatus.
