FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in the manufacture of plain bearings for rotating shafts of process equipment operated in the oil and gas industry. The plain bearing has a housing (1) and segments (2, 3) installed in it, made of FUT grade carbon fiber materials and rubber, which are machined in one size along the inner diameter and are located alternately inside the housing (1), starting from the upper and lower points, in which there are segments (2) made of FUT grade carbon fiber. The bearing also has longitudinal thrust bars (4) made of FUT grade carbon fiber and installed in the middle of the side surfaces inside the housing (1).
EFFECT: development of a plain bearing design for a rotating shaft on the basis of existing normative, regulatory and reference documents with improved performance, which makes it possible to increase the reliability of the process equipment.
