SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, namely, methods for rock blasting from the massif, and can be used primarily in the extraction of minerals by an open method. The technical solution relates to the conduct of blasting operations with a closed mining method, in particular to methods and devices for blasting, namely, to the shell of the stemming for isolating the charge of explosives. The shell of the stemming for isolating the explosive charge is made in the form of a sleeve made of woven, non-woven or knitted material permeable to liquids with a density of 15 to 400 g/m2. The sleeve is made of one or more layers of liquid-permeable material with a seam obtained by stitching, gluing or fusing the material, has a diameter ranging from 10 to 90 mm and a length ranging from 20 to 1000 mm. The material for the shell is chosen from a group including cambric, chiffon, sieve fabric, calico, crepe, denim, silk, gabardine, georgette, cashmere, linon, percale, muslin, polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane fabrics.

EFFECT: ensuring uniform wetting of the mineral mixture of the stemming, preservation of the solution after wetting in a form convenient for entering directly into the hole mouth, for its uniform filling and solidification of the mixture in the cavity of the passage.
